Countless movies seem to portray the evolution of technology leading to a technological apocalypse where man submits to their own creations. Movies like the Terminator and the Matrix are prime examples of this.
In turn, this has instilled a fear into the citizens of not only our country but throughout the world that eventually we will dig our hole too deep when it comes to Artificial Intelligence, which will lead to an all-out AI takeover.
There are however a few things that make this theory completely impossible for future dangers regarding technology and future development.
1. Artificial Intelligence Dangers Are Limited By The Machines Experience
If you had to take a super-intellect genius and ask him to learn a new language In a day – he may get the broad concept of the language but as a fluent speaker, he would fail hands down. This is the way that AI operates.
What we are saying is that despite the fact that the intelligence is there albeit in great strength without experience all of that intelligence means nothing, which essentially diminishes all Artificial Intelligence dangers.
This is why in our current society tech giants are working on machine-learning but this is still light years away from machines capable of thinking and enhancing themselves beyond the scope of what we, as their makers design them to be capable of.
