1. Kitchen Utensils
In a healthy home every department is important and has a lot of things to check in order to reveal the dirtiest and old items. Kitchen is one of the places where bacteria can accumulate in large quantities if you keep your household items for a too long time. The most dangerous for health kitchen tools are sponges, cutting boards, plastic containers and bottles, damaged pans and other. Experts recommend using a washcloth instead of sponge since it dries quicker or at least microwaving sponges to get rid of harmful microbes. Also, it is known that plastic cutting boards are not as good as the wooden ones which contain naturally antimicrobial resins. Nevertheless, wooden cutting boards should be also replaced from time to time since bacteria are gathered in the grooves.
