3. Eat Fruits and Vegetables
After you quit smoking, your appetite may rise a lot and you will probably overeat. It is normal but try to eat “good” food such as fruits and vegetables, whole grains, meat, etc. If you don’t like the idea of food instead of cigarettes, consider nicotine replacement therapy. Whenever you are eager to reach for a cigarette, take a gum, a glass of wine, a cup of coffee, watch TV, etc.
