Harvard University is a private institution of higher learning established in 1636 in Cambridge (MA, USA). Harvard University is the oldest higher education institution in the USA. Harvard is well-known university throghout the world and occupies top positions in the educational rankings though it was founded very late compared with European universities. The Harvard counts 79 different libraries and the largest academic library in the world.
There are only about 20 thousand students enrolled and 5 000 of them are foreigners. The cost of tuition is very expensive but Harvard allows for plenty of financial aid for students. Among famous alumni, 8 US presidents and about 150 Nobel laureates graduated from Harvard.
