Which movies/TV shows/film, etc do you feel are BETTER than the book counterparts, and WHY?

I won’t judge, I’m honestly curious. The books I’ve read thus far are much better just because the movies skip out on and alter many scenes in order to fit the timeframe (annoying, but understandable!).
Reasons could be anything: poor language, iffy with the writing style/flow, too long with unnecessary details, better onscreen portrayal…
